Alumcenter Product & Warranty Information

Since 2004, Alumcenter has helped Florida homeowners improve their outdoor spaces with quality aluminum patio cover systems, insulated roof materials, and dependable customer support. Today, Alumcenter LLC focuses on supplying DIY aluminum patio cover kits, insulated roof systems, and related patio cover components for customers throughout Florida.

This page explains how product warranty support, order review, delivery inspection, and installation responsibility are handled for Alumcenter patio cover kits and related materials.

Our Commitment to Quality

Alumcenter prepares each patio cover kit based on the project information provided by the customer, including roof size, projection, attachment type, panel thickness, frame color, post size, beam size, layout, and related configuration details.

We make every effort to provide accurate order preparation, clear communication, and helpful support throughout the purchasing process. Because each project is different, customers are responsible for reviewing their quote, drawings, measurements, colors, options, and order details before approving the order.

Manufacturer Warranty

Many of the materials supplied with Alumcenter patio cover kits may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty against qualifying manufacturing defects. Manufacturer warranty coverage may vary depending on the product, component type, finish, manufacturer, installation conditions, and written warranty terms.

Any warranty related to manufacturing defects, panel issues, coating defects, factory-related material concerns, or other product defects is subject to the manufacturer’s written warranty policy and approval process.

Alumcenter will assist customers with the information needed to help start or support a manufacturer warranty claim when applicable. Final approval, replacement, repair, credit, or denial of a manufacturer warranty claim remains subject to the manufacturer’s review and warranty terms.

Alumcenter Order Support

Alumcenter stands behind the accuracy of the order preparation process. If there is an issue with missing items, incorrect components, damaged materials, or order-related concerns, customers should contact Alumcenter as soon as possible after delivery or pickup so the issue can be reviewed.

To help us review any concern, customers may be asked to provide:

  • Customer name or order number
  • Photos of the materials or issue
  • Delivery or pickup date
  • Description of the concern
  • Copy of the approved quote, drawing, or sales order when needed
  • Project measurements or layout information when needed

Any correction, replacement, credit, or support will depend on the nature of the issue, the approved sales order, product availability, delivery records, photos provided, and review of the claim.

Customer Review Before Ordering

Before approving an order, customers should carefully review all project details, including:

  • Roof width and projection
  • Panel thickness and panel color
  • Frame color
  • Post size and quantity
  • Beam size and layout
  • Attachment type
  • Freestanding or attached design
  • Fan beam locations, if included
  • Gutter, fascia, or drip edge configuration
  • Delivery address and contact information
  • Any special-order materials or custom options

Once an order is approved and materials are ordered, prepared, cut, packed, or scheduled for delivery, changes may be limited and may require additional cost. Custom orders, special-order colors, cut materials, and made-to-order components may not be eligible for return unless otherwise stated in writing.

Installation and Workmanship

Alumcenter DIY patio cover kits are supplied as material packages for customer-managed installation. Unless installation is specifically included in a written agreement with Alumcenter, installation labor, site preparation, footings, structural attachment, assembly, waterproofing, and workmanship are the responsibility of the customer or the installer/contractor hired by the customer.

Alumcenter does not warranty installation work performed by homeowners, independent contractors, third-party installers, handymen, or other outside parties.

If a customer chooses to work with an independent installer, any labor warranty, workmanship warranty, scheduling, pricing, payment terms, service agreement, or installation-related concern should be handled directly between the customer and that installer.

What May Not Be Covered

Warranty coverage may not apply to issues caused by:

  • Improper installation
  • Incorrect measurements provided by the customer
  • Customer-approved order errors
  • Changes made after the original quote or order approval
  • Damage during unloading, handling, storage, or installation
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Storms, hurricanes, wind events, flooding, falling branches, flying debris, or other weather-related damage
  • Improper attachment to an existing structure
  • Inadequate footings, foundation, slab, wall, fascia, or site preparation
  • Water intrusion caused by improper sealing, flashing, pitch, attachment, or installation
  • Modifications made to the materials after delivery or pickup
  • Cutting, drilling, painting, or altering materials in a way not approved by the manufacturer
  • Damage caused by third-party installers, contractors, or other trades
  • Failure to follow applicable installation guidelines, engineering requirements, product documentation, or local building requirements

Delivery and Pickup Inspection

Customers should inspect their order at the time of delivery or pickup whenever possible. Any visible damage, missing items, incorrect materials, or material concerns should be reported promptly.

If materials are delivered, someone should be available to receive, unload, count, and inspect the order. Once materials are accepted, delayed reporting may make it harder to verify whether an issue occurred before or after delivery.

Customers are responsible for storing materials safely after delivery or pickup. Materials should be protected from damage, theft, improper stacking, impact, standing water, job-site activity, and weather exposure before installation.

Florida Product Approval and Engineering

Some patio cover components may be supplied with Florida Product Approval documentation when applicable. Florida Product Approval relates to approved product systems and components, but it does not replace site-specific review, engineering, permitting, structural attachment requirements, or local building department approval.

For projects requiring formal approval, signed and sealed engineering drawings may be required separately based on the property location, project size, layout, attachment method, wind zone, exposure category, existing structure, and local requirements.

Customers are responsible for confirming permit requirements with their local building department before installation. When engineering, permits, inspections, or contractor licenses are required, those items must be handled by the customer, contractor, engineer, or other qualified professional unless specifically included in writing.

Warranty Claim Process

To request warranty support or report a product concern, please contact Alumcenter with your order information and clear photos of the issue. Our team will review the information provided and help determine the next step.

When applicable, Alumcenter may coordinate with the supplier or manufacturer to help review qualifying material concerns. The customer may be asked to provide additional photos, measurements, installation details, product labels, delivery records, or other information required by the manufacturer.

Final approval for manufacturer warranty claims remains subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and review process.
